Rent/Lease To Own How it Works at The Spa Guy, Inc!
Why Rent a Hot Tub. There are many reasons for Renting. First How many times have you purchased something and used it alot
then quit using it altogether only to loose alot of money when you sold it. If you Rent and decide you don't want it
anymore you simply call us and we go pick it up for a predetermined fee and all you loose is the
monthly payments that have been paid and the pick up fee which would be alot less than if you paid for the tub and then sold it, Also you get the difference of Your Deposit and any Fees owed Back.
Another
reason would be you can start with a basic tub and use your equity to move up to a nicer tub as the years go by.
Another reason is this is not like taking out a loan
because you can simply have the tub picked up and stop making payments if you can no longer afford it! So Consider Renting over Buying!
Last But Not Least We are offering as an Added Bonus On Selected Hot Tubs The Option to Choose an Extended Warranty Program. If you choose not to opt for the up to 36 Month Extended Warranty then you still get
the 90 Day Warranty. What We Cover Under Either of Our Warranties for Either 90 Days or the Full time that
the Tub is under Rental Is Any Mechanical Breakdown Including Pumps, Motors, Electronics and Leaks.
We don't cover Cosmetic Items, Normal Wear and Tear or Physical Damage or Cracks in the Shell. This makes the coverage for a Rent to
own tub better than most New Hot Tub Warranties!Come Visit our Showroom In Hendersonville Tennessee Call to be sure someone is at the Plant. We are open most days from 8:00 to 4:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 2:00. If you need to see tubs outside of those times call and I will meet you except on Sunday. The way Rent/Lease to Own Works is:
Example: Lets say You chose a Hot Tub that is 2000.00. You would pay a deposit toward the tub of 25% which is $500.00
Plus the First Months Rent which would be around $75.35 + Tax. You would then make monthly rental payments
of 75.35 + tax each month. After you pay the rental Fee for 36 Months You would own the Hot Tub as long as all payments are
paid and any Late or Other fees are paid. If you paid all 36 Monthly Rental Payments and had no outstanding fees you would be refunded the full Deposit you paid.
If you decided you no longer want the Hot Tub after lets say 12 months then you would simply call us and say
I no longer want the tub. We would pick the Hot Tub up for a predetermined fee which would come out of the Deposit
and you would be refunded your deposit minus the Pick Up Fee as long as all other payments and fees
have been paid. If Late Fees and payments are outstanding they would be subtracted from the Deposit before being refunded
as well.
Early Payoff: There is No Long Term Obligation unless you want to Own the Tub.
If you want to pay it off early you would take the cash price
Add together all Monthly Rental Payments that were paid subtract Approximately 60% (Based on the Rule of 78 to define the exact amount)of that amount from the cash price
and any Fees Late or Other and subtract the Deposit and pay that amount
in a lump sum plus tax and the Rented Property would be yours.
Example: $2000.00 Cash Price. You paid 10 Montly Payments of
75.00 x 10= $750.00 x .60% = $450.00 assuming you had no late payments you would subtract $450.00 and your $500.00 deposit from
the Cash Price of $2000.00 Your Payoff Balance would then be $1050.00 + Tax Plus the Unpaid Tax on your $500.00 Deposit. Tax on 1550.00
would be $143.38 so your payoff amount would be $1193.38 with no penalty for early payoff except you loose the Warranty it is only active as long as
it is under Rental.
Note: Most Hot Tubs have a 90 Day Limited Warranty and you can even Purchase an Extended Warranty.
You would be responsible for Upkeep, Chemicals, Maintenance and Insurance.
Non-Homeowners: If you do not own the Property where the Hot Tub would be placed then you will have to have written permission
on a The Spa Guy, Inc provided form giving you permission to place the Hot Tub on the Property and Giving Us
certain permissions to be disclosed in the Rental-Purchase Agreement.
Placement of the Rented Property: The Rented Property must be placed in an area where it can be easily removed
upon default or cancellation of the agreement. Examples would be; No High Deck where a crane or other equipment would be
required to remove the Hot tub. No Indeck Installation. The Hot Tub can be placed on a deck if not higher than about 7 steps.
If you are planning to place the Hot Tub in any of these situations we may allow it with a Larger Deposit.
We can discuss it.
