1. THE GOLDEN RULE For any item you are thinking of purchasing(If it's Cheap There's a Reason) some reasons are not good!
2. There will never be ANYTHING quality that's Cheap.
3. If it's a Lot less money than another simliar looking spa, Check into what is Missing.(Example: Insulation. There are a few manufacturers that choose to leave Insulation out of a new spa.)
Insulation is very important in a machine that stays hot all of the time. It could cost a Small Fortune to keep it Hot without it!
Most Spa Manufacturers Buy from the same few suppliers, therefore if you find a much less expensive machine You are Sacrificing something because they are investing similarly in their products.
4. If you choose a spa from a discount store Like (Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Costco, Etc...) Remember they don't have a Service Department.
You will be at the Mercy of whoever is Administering the Warranty and Whoever they Send.(There are Very Few Spa Service Companies, Check around. Most ONLY Service what they Sell)
5. If you choose a New Spa from someone in the newspaper or Craigslist they probably won't be around long therefore they will not care if you have problems with your spa. I Bet they don't have a Service Department Just Ask!
Beware of Furniture stores that sale spas. Why? Do they have an In house Service Department? If not they are not serious.
Would you go to a Car Dealership to buy a couch? Then don't buy a spa from a Couch Store.
6. Only Buy Made In America Spas. There are some out there now from China. Note: There are some American Manufacturers who are using Substandard Chinese parts to reduce the cost of theirs spas. I have personally found a Manufacturer in Tennessee that offers tubs cheap in Nashville using Chinese Substandard Parts including Control Systems and Pumps! The Pumps look like a Very good brand of pumps but the parts for the good brand will not fit the Cheap brand.
They will be hard to get parts for and The Spa Guy Will Not Service them.
You will be buying a spa that will be like your TV when it breaks - Throw it away.
7. If the company you are thinking of buying from Does Not have an In house Service Department Do Not Buy From Them!
Have you ever noticed that all New Car Dealerships have an attached Service Department? This is because Cars break.
They are Mechanical devices.
Hot Tubs are Mechanical Devices too. Don't believe it will never need any Service.
If they don't have a Service Department they are not prepared to sell Spas. Would you buy a new Car from a Dealership that had no way to service your new car?
They would just say go up the street to Joe's Garage he will take care of you.
If you didn't buy from Joe how much attention do you think you would receive?
Don't bet On Joe!
8. If the company's main focus you are thinking of buying from is sales, you will probably become a number after you take delivery of your spa.
Most Sales People have no Idea about Service and will tell you what you want to hear to sell you a Spa!
If you have a problem they will say I have no control over The Service Department, Talk to them. Buyer Beware!

The Spa Guy, Inc. is the service department for a lot of local companies including some of the manufacturers sold in the discount stores.
If I have a person on my need service list that bought from me and someone that bought from someone else who would you expect me to give priority to?
The answer is obvious. I always take care of my purchasers first.
I am the President of this Corporation and I work on and move and sell spas daily. I am not some guy who sits in an office and doesn't know anything about spas.
We are professionals and offer superior service on hot tubs. A large portion of the pool stores will recommend us. Just call and ask.
Thanks and God bless you, Billy Stallings "The Spa Guy"
