AT THE SPA GUY WE CERTIFY ALL HOT TUBS BEFORE WE SELL THEM.
Standards of Refurb:
We do not accept every hot tub for the refurbish process. It must meet certain criteria before we will choose a tub and invest time and money. We only choose what we feel are the best of the best in a particular size, shape or brand. Therefore, when you see a tub we have refurbished, you will know it is the best tub available to fit the need.
If it meets our standards of refurb we will:
Only after we have certified the hot tub and we have satisfied the criteria set forth for a certified hot tub will we offer the tub for sale on our websites and in our stores.
Our Standard for Frame and Side Panels is to make the tub structurally sound not perfect. This means the wood on the bottom of the tub will support the tub for many years but will not all be new and without blemish or without older looking wood. If you want a tub with a perfect bottom We suggest a new one.
