The Spa Guy Buyer Checklist Before Delivery
HERE ARE THE STEPS TO DELIVERY: 1. You will need a flat level surface to set your hot tub on. It can be concrete, paving stones or wood but must be solid and level. We do not level your surface that is your responsibility. You cannot level a hot tub, your surface must be level!! 2. Make access to the spot where the tub will be placed. If you have limited access, hills, decks or other things impeding delivery we need to know ahead of time so we can prepare and there may be additional charges for delivery. Note: If you are placing the tub on a deck it is your responsibility to make sure the deck will support the tub we do offer a reinforcement service for an additional fee. 3. Have a water source readily available with a hose. 4. Have an electrical source readily available. a. If it's a 115v tub you will need a 115v GFCI protected plug within 10 ft. of the tub. b. If it's a 230v tub you will need an electrician to wire a 50 amp breaker from the house breaker box to a 50 amp GFCI not closer than 5 ft. or further than 15 ft. to the tub. Then wire from the 50 amp GFCI box a whip in conduit long enough to reach inside the tub to the control box. Most tubs require 6/3 wire with a ground. Note: If you don’t supply the wire from the box to the tub we can for an additional fee. We will place the tub in the position that you want, fill it and tie in the existing wire you provide. We will then verify all operations, teach the chemical program we provide, install any extra purchased accessories, secure the cover, and give you the keys. Note: We are required to install the cover security locks to insure safety. If you refuse them to be installed you must sign a waiver of liability.
